Here's a recipe for a no-fail, perfect Irish coffee you will want to serve at your next brunch or dinner party.
Ingredients:
1 cup cold heavy cream
3 tbsp. Irish Cream Liquor
2 tbsps. Irish whiskey
1 tbsp. brown sugar
strong brewed hot coffee
chocolate shavings
nutmeg
cinnamon stick for garnish
Directions
In a chilled bowl combine the heavy cream and Irish Cream Liquor. Whip with an electric mixer until stiff and fluffy. Set aside.
To your mug or glass coup, add 2 tablespoons whiskey, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and 1 cup coffee. Top with a very generous layer of the whipped cream. The more generous of a whipped cream layer, the better!
Sprinkle on chocolate shavings and nutmeg. Add cinnamon stick for garnish.
Drink the coffee through the cream and enjoy!
