Homemade Creamsicles

Nothing says summer more than your favorite popsicle on a hot day. One of our favorite summer flavors is the sweet, creamy, and hint of orange tartness in a classic creamsicle. We're giving you a quick and easy recipe to make your own creamy popsicles at home! These are great a summer sweet surprise after dinner or with cocktails by the pool!

Creamsicles

Serves 6 Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 12-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt

  • 1/2 cup condensed milk

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • Popsicle sticks

  • Silicone popsicle mold

Instructions:

  • Combine orange juice concentrate, 1/2 cup milk, sugar and honey in a small blender until smooth. Set aside.

  • In another bowl, whisk together yogurt, condensed milk, 1/2 cup milk, and vanilla extract until well blended.

  • Pour orange mix into popsicle molds until half full. Top and fill the rest with the yogurt mix.

  • Insert popsicle stick into mold and slightly swirl the popsicle mixture to lightly blend flavors. Leave popsicle stick in the middle of the mold. Cover with tray lid or saranwrap to avoid freezer burn.

  • Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight before serving.

  • Let popsicles sit out for a few minutes before pulling out of the mold to avoid breakage. Serve immediately.
