Grilled Kabobs

Grilled kabobs are an easy way to serve multiple meats at once! Seasoning and marinating the meat for at least an hour before grilling ensures the meat stays well seasoned! Our trick for elevating these is to use a beautiful tray, add a fresh herb to the center (we used cilantro), and cut up citrus wedges!

Grilled Kabobs

8 wooden skewers

2 6 oz steaks

2 chicken breasts

2 yellow squash

2 green zucchini

1 red onion

Seasoning and Marinade

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/3 cup olive oil

1 tbs dijon mustard

2 tbs minced garlic

2 tbs brown sugar

3 tbs lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon black pepper

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together seasoning and marinade ingredients and set aside. Cube the steak, chicken, squash, zucchini, and onion into similar sized pieces and place in a large bowl.

  2. Pour seasoning and marinade mixture over cubed ingredients and toss. Cover and let sit in the fridge for at least an hour.

  3. Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes before using. Once skewers are soaked, take the seasoned meat and vegetables and arrange on skewers.

  4. Grill skewers on medium -high heat for 3-5 minutes on each side. Let meat rest for 5 minutes before serving!
