Chinoiserie Eggs

Blue and white is making a huge comeback! For Easter this year, our eggs are getting a big makeover in classic chinoiserie! We tucked these eggs around our tablescape to add a charming touch of traditional elegance! The best part was not only that the eggs were beautiful, but that our guest could enjoy them too!

Boiled Eggs with Shell

Edible Glue (can purchase online or a specialty baking store). You may use a clear drying crafting glue if you do not plan for them to be eaten.

Chinoiserie Napkins (or design of your choice)

  1. Tear the desired napkins into strips and pieces.

  2. Using the edible glue, wet the napkin pieces and attach to the eggs. Add several layers of glue over the napkin pieces allowing drying time between applications.

  3. Once the eggs are covered and sealed with the glue, allow them to dry and keep refrigerated. When ready to serve, place eggs in a dish or stack around your table and let guests admire the beautiful eggs! Guests will be able to crack open the shells and enjoy the hard boiled eggs.
